What are Add-ons?

Add-ons allow you to personalize Internet Explorer for how you access your favorite content and services.

• Search Providers

  Type a search term and see real-time, relevant search suggestions from your chosen search provider.

• Accelerators

  Highlight some text from any web page and then click on the blue Accelerators icon to instantly apply your selection to a service.

• Web Slices

  Using Web Slices, you can get site updates directly from the Favorites Bar. If a Web Slice is available on a page, a green Web Slices icon will appear.

• Toolbars

  Toolbars add features (like stock tickers, bookmarkers, and image viewers for example) to your browser.
